ADVERPred 2.0 is a web application for in silico prediction of adverse drug reactions (ADRs). These include cardiovascular ADRs (cardiac failure, myocardial infarction, QT prolongation, stroke, ventricular tachycardia), haematological ADRs (anaemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia), psychiatric ADRs (depression, suicide), skin ADRs (toxic epidermal necrolysis/Stevens–Johnson syndrome), DRESS syndrome, hepatotoxicity, and nephrotoxicity.
The prediction is based on PASS (Prediction of Activity Spectra for Substances) technology (https://www.way2drug.com/PASSonline) and on training sets created using manually curated information from drug labels.
Training data sets for ADRs you can download here.
ADVERPred 2.0 also predicts 312 molecular mechanisms of action that correspond to 221 protein targets that are used for safety pharmacology profiling and are available in the Open Targets Platform (https://platform.opentargets.org/).
