Legal Information & Notices

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") apply to the Way2Drug web-resources, which are operated by the Laboratory of Structure-Function Based Drug Design of the Institute of Biomedical Chemistry ("LSFBDD", "W2D Team", "we", "us"). By accessing and using Way2Drug and its functionality, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use Way2Drug web-resources.

Please note that Way2Drug reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Your continued use of Way2Drug following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to the revised Terms. As long as you comply with these Terms, LSFBDD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use Way2Drug.

Content

Unless expressly identified otherwise, all text, graphics, visual interfaces, trademarks, logos, artwork, software, source code, databases, database compilations, model outputs, service infrastructure and other materials available through Way2Drug (collectively, the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to the Laboratory of Structure-Function Based Drug Design of the Institute of Biomedical Chemistry (“LSFBDD”) and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Only materials expressly marked as “Licensed Materials” and accompanied by a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) notice are available under that licence. Subject to the licence terms, you may copy, redistribute, adapt and build upon those Licensed Materials for non-commercial purposes.

When sharing, reproducing or adapting Licensed Materials, you must provide appropriate attribution to LSFBDD and Way2Drug, include a link to the source material where reasonably practicable, provide a link to the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence, and indicate whether changes were made. You must not state or imply that LSFBDD or Way2Drug endorses you or your use of the Licensed Materials.

The CC BY-NC 4.0 licence does not apply to Way2Drug trademarks, logos, website design, user interfaces, source code, databases, database compilations, model outputs, access credentials, service infrastructure or third-party materials unless a specific notice expressly states otherwise.

Licensed Materials

Licensed Materials are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. This means that you may copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and transform and build upon the material for any non-commercial purpose, provided that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests LSFBDD endorses you or your use. If you wish to use the Way2Drug Content for commercial purposes, please contact us through any available means to inquire about a separate licensing agreement. You must not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

For these Terms, “Licensed Materials” means only the materials explicitly identified on Way2Drug as available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Unless explicitly labelled otherwise, the term does not include Way2Drug trademarks, logos, visual identity, website design, user interfaces, source code, databases, database compilations, access credentials, service infrastructure or third-party materials.

LSFBDD grants to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-delegable, revocable, worldwide license for the Permitted Use. For the purpose of these Terms, "Permitted Use" shall mean the use of Way2Drug for the following purposes: (I) private study; (II) academic study; and (III) internal research on a non-commercial basis.

You warrant, represent and undertake: (I) not to use Way2Drug in any manner that may damage, overload, or impair its performance; (II) not to copy or modify any portion of the Content or Licensed Materials in order to provide services that are similar or identical to those offered by Way2Drug; (III) to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with your use of the Licensed Materials; (IV) not to use any web crawler, bot, scraper, or other automated data retrieval tool or service to access Way2Drug in an automated manner, including for the purpose of collecting and reconstructing a Substantial Part of the Licensed Materials. For the purposes of these Terms, a "Substantial Part of the Licensed Materials" shall mean any subset of the Licensed Materials containing more than 10% of the total Licensed Materials.

Suspension and Termination of Access

LSFBDD may suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to Way2Drug and/or the Licensed Materials, for any reason and at any time. Without limiting the foregoing, LSFBDD may take such action if it reasonably believes that you have failed to comply with any of these Terms.

Our Services

Our web services (PASS Online, GUSAR Online, DIGEP-Pred, CLC-Pred, SOMP, MetaPASS, DDI-Pred and others) are designed to support drug discovery and development using in silico methods: selecting promising compounds for synthesis and biological testing, filtering drug candidates with potential adverse effects and toxicity, and reducing the time and financial costs of drug development. The Way2Drug platform is intended for professionals engaged in the search and development of new medicines and must not be used by patients for making independent decisions regarding the use of medicinal products.
